Privacy
Access Training Institute respects the privacy of all visitors’ personal information by adhering to privacy laws. We abide by the following principles in our privacy policy:
Generally, we use the information we collect about you for two purposes: to facilitate your request and to create a better, more personalised experience for you.
- We provide clear, complete and up-to-date information online about our business and the products and services we offer. This includes how to get in touch with us. This information helps you to make informed choices.
- We only collect information that is necessary for what we do. For example, we collect the information which is relevant to generate a letter of offer, or respond to your request for information.
- We only collect personal information by lawful and fair means. This means we are never unreasonably intrusive when it comes to dealing with our students. From time to time, we may also collect non-personal information. This helps us in our ongoing efforts to improve our service. We also monitor our customers’ usage of our website to make improvements.
- As much as possible, we will collect information directly from the individual (or agent, if appropriate)
- We may also use the information we collect to keep you abreast of changes in our website, to inform you about new products and services, or to let you know about special offers you might find worthwhile. If you would rather not receive this information, you can e-mail or call to let us know.
- Access Training Institute cannot guarantee the secure transmission of information over the internet. Visitors should be aware that there are risks in transmitting information over the internet. If you are concerned about conveying your personal information over the internet, please feel free to contact the Institute by other means.
- In accordance with the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000, any personal information collected about students used in the course of business will not be passed on to any other organisations. However, the Institute is bound to provide personal information on its students to State and Commonwealth Governments if requested.
The above statements do not extend to external web sites, which have links with the Access Training Institute website. Please refer to the privacy statements of these sites individually.
